Fees

  • 20 JD for Jordanian nationals and residents.

  • 15 JD for RACJ members.

Requirements

  • Valid Jordanian driving license.

  • Application form completed in English, with the name exactly as indicated on the passport.

  • One personal photo.

Validity and Conditions

  • The IDP is valid for one year from the date of issue.

  • If the national driving license is valid for less than one year, the IDP will be issued with an expiry date matching that of the national driving license.

  • The IDP cannot be used in the country where it was issued, whether for Jordanians or non-Jordanians.

Government Service Center

International Driving Permits can also be issued at the Government Service Center at Queen Alia International Airport (outside the Arrivals building). The airport service is available 24 hours a day.

Delivery Service

Pick-up and delivery of International Driving Permits from different provinces is available through Aramex offices. The license can be received within three days from the date of submission.
